Dr Stroud

I studied at Cardiff University, graduating in Medical Genetics in 1996 and in Medicine in 1997. I completed my GP training in Rhondda Cynon Taff, and joined Waterfront Medical Centre in 2003. I became a partner in 2018. I enjoy walking, needlework and reading, particularly about archaeology and human evolution.

Dr Rogers

Dr Rogers joined the Practice in February 2021 and became a partner in May 2021. He studied at Cardiff University, graduating in 2012. He undertook his foundation training in Cardiff and Bridgend and later completed his GP Training in 2017 in Cardiff. Dr Rogers is an approved GP Trainer for the Wales Deanery, overseeing the training of GP Registrars within the Practice. In addition to his interests in education, he also has interests in Men’s Health and Elderly Care Medicine. Outside his clinical work he enjoys surfing, hiking and cooking.

Dr Cheung

Dr Cheung joined the Practice in November 2021 and became a GP Partner in 2022. He completed his GP training in Swansea and has interests in General Medicine and Musculo-Skeletal disorders. Dr. Cheung is proficient in Cantonese and basic Mandarin. Outside of his clinical work he enjoys keeping active and running.

Dr Zaman

Dr Zaman joined the Practice in September 2021 as a salaried GP, with working hours on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. She completed her GP training in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot locality and has interests in Child and Women’s Health. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys reading, baking and travelling.

Dr Derbyshire

Dr Derbyshire studied at Cardiff University, graduating in 2012. She worked at various hospitals in South East Wales before completing her GP training in Cardiff and Vale, joining Waterfront Medical Centre in 2022. She works part time on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. On a weekend, she is most likely to be found exploring the Vale with her husband, their young daughter and lively cockapoo!

Dr Sabry

I grew up not far from Barry, moving away in secondary school. I studied Medicine at King's College London, taking an extra year to gain a further qualification in Endocrinology. I then completed my foundation training in Manchester, and finally my GP training in Birmingham. I joined Waterfront Medical Centre in 2023. I enjoy basketball, tech, and of course spending time with my family.

Dr Jayaraman

I graduated from Nottingham University in 2010. I trained and subsequently worked in Somerset until last year when I joined the team here at the Waterfront as their GP retainer. I have an interest in Women’s Health, Palliative Care and Elderly Care Medicine. I live locally with my husband and three young children. I enjoy walking and love reading - am always happy to receive recommendations for any good books!

Dr Tuke

I graduated from Cardiff Medical School in 2015. I worked in hospitals in Oxford, Australia and Bangor before returning to Cardiff to start my GP training. I have an interest in women’s health and contraception. My hobbies include hiking, cycling, growing my own vegetables and looking after my chickens!
