Claire O’Hare
I graduated from Cardiff University in 2009 and undertook pre-registration training at the University Hospital of Wales. I then completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend then remained there as a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist. I completed my Masters in 2015, shortly before moving to primary care as the cluster pharmacist in Newport and working for the 111 service. During this time, I qualified as an Independent Prescriber. I became directly employed at GP practice in Newport for several years before moving to the Waterfront Medical Centre in 2024. In my free time I play the clarinet in a local chamber orchestra and enjoy days out with my young family.
