Services Offered
The Waterfront Medical Centre provides a number of services at the practice including Asthma, COPD and Diabetic clinics.

Antenatal Clinic |
Antenatal clinics are run by the Midwife on a Monday Morning and a Tuesday all day. |
Asthma Clinic |
Asthma patients should receive an annual review and our Asthma review appointments are available to book Monday to Friday with our Asthma Nurse. These appointments can be prebooked. |

Cervical Smear Clinic |
Women and people with a cervix aged 25-64 are encouraged to have a cervical smear test every five years and these appointments are available to be pre-booked Monday to Friday with one of our Practice Nurses. |
Child Imms Clinic |
The Practices Childhood Immunisation Clinics are held every Wednesday morning and are conducted by our Practice Nurses. It is recommended that all children receive the required immunisations as it gives protection against some infectious diseases. |
Coil Clinic |
Our Coil clinics are held once a month and are conducted by our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. The Practice has an active waiting list of patients requesting a coil and will contact patients when appointments become available for us to prebook. |
COPD Clinic |
All COPD patients should receive an annual review and our COPD review appointments are available to book Monday to Friday with our COPD Nurse. These appointments can be prebooked. |

Diabetic Clinic |
All Diabetic patients should receive an annual review which includes having their Blood Pressure, weight and HbA1c checked. Also, a foot check is completed during the review. Our Diabetic Clinics are available to book Monday to Friday and can either be with a Healthcare assistant or a Practice Nurse. |

Flu Clinic |
Our Flu Clinics run from October each year and are held on select Saturday mornings. Patients over the age of 65 and those under the age of 65 with a clinical risk are eligible. The Practice will contact eligible patients via text and letter to inform them of when our flu clinics are being held. |

Learning Disability Clinic |
All patients with a Learning Disability are eligible to receive an annual review and these can be prebooked Monday to Friday with one of our Healthcare Assistants. |

Menopause Clinic |
Menopause Clinics are held in the Practice once a month on a Tuesday afternoon. These appointments can be prebooked by any patients wishing to speak with a female GP about their menopause symptoms or HRT treatment. |
Mental Health Clinic |
The Central Vale Cluster provides adult mental health services to patients living in the Central Vale area. These appointments are with a Mental Health Practitioner and can be prebooked without the need to make a GP appointment first. For more information or to book an appointment please contact the practice. |

Physio Clinic |
The Central Vale Cluster provides First Contact Physiotherapy services which can be pre-booked up to 48 hours in advance. These appointments do not require a referral from a GP. For more information or to book an appointment please contact the practice. |

Steroid Injection Clinic |
The Practice is able to provide steroid injections to treat a range of conditions in many different areas including knees, shoulder, elbow etc. These clinics are held once a week and are very popular with our patient population. The appointments are only available to prebook and patients will need to make an appointment with a GP first to check that a steroid injection is the correct course of treatment before being booked in for a steroid injection.
